Winning state championships may not be a new thing for Valor Christian’s football team, but Saturday’s accomplishment may have meant just a little bit more.
The Class 4A and 5A football finalists were at Broncos Stadium at Mile High on Tuesday for a tour and walk-through of the facility, as well as a press conference in advance of their championship matchups.
With the season in the balance, Chase Lopez stepped in front of the pass and secured Valor Christian's spot in the Class 5A football state championship game.
