This week's CHSAANow.com volleyball rankings received quite a shakeup as Cherry Creek (No. 6), Denver East (No. 7), Chaparral (No. 9) and Mountain Vista (No. 10) all broke into this week's Class 5A poll.
Palisade had a key fourth-down stop near the goal-line in the fourth quarter as the fifth-ranked Bulldogs upset No. 3 Holy Family 42-34 in a huge Class 3A football game on Friday evening.
Lydia Bartalo had 13 kills, Michaela Putnicki added 10, and top-ranked Lewis-Palmer volleyball swept No. 5 Valor Christian 25-12, 25-20 and 25-17 on Thursday.
