The preseason boys basketball rankings are out. The No. 1 teams are: Grandview (5A), Lewis-Palmer (4A), Colorado Academy (3A), Yuma (2A) and Sangre de Cristo (1A).
Finn Leggitt only scored six points in the second half of No. 1 Creede's 55-46 win over No. 8 Cornerstone Christian, but they were easily the most timely six points of the game.
There were plenty of changes as the first boys basketball rankings of the regular season were released. Included: Lewis-Palmer is now the new No. 1 team in Class 4A.
The 2017-18 preseason boys basketball rankings are here. No. 1 teams to start the season include: Rock Canyon (5A), Golden (4A), Sterling (3A), Sedgwick County (2A) and Holly (1A).
