Spirit teams from Jeffco competed at the CHSAA state spirit championships in Denver on Dec. 9 and 10. Wheat Ridge High School's poms and cheers, along with Standley Lake High Schools cheer team advanced to the finals.
The 2016 all-state boys soccer teams are led by players of the year Tajon Buchanan of Legacy; Titus Grant of The Classical Academy; and Max Mehlman of Kent Denver.
