Winning state championships may not be a new thing for Valor Christian’s football team, but Saturday’s accomplishment may have meant just a little bit more.
The Class 4A and 5A football finalists were at Broncos Stadium at Mile High on Tuesday for a tour and walk-through of the facility, as well as a press conference in advance of their championship matchups.
Cherry Creek used a strong defensive effort, including a late fumble recovery, to beat Columbine 10-7 in the Class 5A football semifinals on Friday night.
