Splitting several first-place votes in the CHSAANow.com 4A boys soccer poll this past week, there was plenty of visual evidence out there for Centaurus and Air Academy that they are highly likely to see each other deep in a playoff scenario.
Three of the four boys soccer classifications have new top-ranked teams in this week's polls, with Air Academy (4A), Kent Denver (3A) and Telluride (2A) taking over at the top.
Five new teams have hopped into this week's volleyball rankings: Longmont (4A), Coal Ridge (3A), Union Colony (2A), Akron (2A) and Flagler/Hi-Plains (1A).
New teams in this week's volleyball rankings include: Eaglecrest and Chatfield (5A); Ponderosa, Cheyenne Mountain and Coronado (4A); Del Norte (2A); Briggsdale, De Beque and Dove Creek (1A).
