Legacy's Jake Boeckenstedt hit a game-winning shot at the buzzer from about 55 feet to lift his team to an improbable 54-51 win over Mountain Range in boys basketball on Wednesday.
It took a whole team effort for the Broomfield Lady Eagles to put up 34 first-half points over the Ralston Valley Mustangs. That effort continued throughout the whole game.
A packed house, a renewed rivalry and control of the Class 3A Tri-Peaks League. It was just another chapter in book of Manitou Springs versus St. Mary's.
