Cherry Creek football is heading to its first championship game since 2008 following a 27-15 win over Ralston Valley in the Class 5A semifinals on Friday night.
The cross country committee is recommending that the state meet continue to be held at the Norris-Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs for the 2015-18 seasons.
