No. 2 Grandview girls basketball smothered Chaparral with tight defense and strong play from sophomore Michaela Onyenwere to win 61-38 in the first round of the Grandview Invitational Tournament on Wednesday.
Andrew Romero III had 23 points and seven rebounds to lead Mountain Range boys basketball to a 65-61 win over Legacy on Tuesday night at the Prairie View Tournament.
