The Niwot Cougars, two-time defending Class 4A state champions in girls track and field headed into the 2015 season, wanted to prove their program was bigger than just one person.
Centaurus, a frequent powerhouse, advanced to the semifinals for the fifth year in a row last season. The program has a third new coach in three seasons.
In all, 67 players from Colorado will play D-I girls soccer in the fall, and 133 overall will play college soccer at some level. Once again, the sport has produced the most Division I players in the state.
Looks like we're headed for another exciting finish. If a 38-point performance in an exciting overtime game last weekend is any sign of what's to come the rest of the way: We Simply CAN'T WAIT!
