The elimination of clipping from high school football is the latest attempt to reduce the risk of injury made by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Football Rules Committee.
Altitude will produce and televise The Colorado 4A and 5A Football Championships, as well as the CHSAA Boys and Girls 4A & 5A Basketball Championships.

The number of participants in high school sports increased for the 26th consecutive year in 2014-15 – topping the 7.8 million mark for the first time – according to an annual survey conducted by the NFHS.
The Colorado High School Activities Association and its 352 member schools open the 95th school year with Boys Golf official practice on August 10. All other sports start officially on August 17.
