Just when it seemed Pueblo prep girls and boys basketball teams might become an afterthought to the rest of the state, there has been a statement made by the Steel City the last several years.
Tracy Renck has covered prep sports for 20 years in Alexandria, La., Hobbs, N.M. and The Pueblo Chieftain. Most recently, Renck worked at The Chieftain for 16 years. He now works as a media coordinator for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
