Grandview star Michaela Onyenwere picked up another award on Monday morning when she was named the Gatorade player of the year for Colorado girls basketball.
In an effort to help those affected by the recent fire in Logan County, the Class 1A and 2A state basketball sites will be taking donations that will go toward fire relief.
The 2016-17 all-state and all-conference hockey teams honor the best players in the sport. They are led by player of the year Christian Perry of Lewis-Palmer.
