No. 2 Grandview girls basketball smothered Chaparral with tight defense and strong play from sophomore Michaela Onyenwere to win 61-38 in the first round of the Grandview Invitational Tournament on Wednesday.
The Golden Demons boys basketball team had no trouble with the Vista PEAK Bison, winning 67-47 in the first round of the D’Evelyn/Golden Preview Classic on Thursday night.
