The CHSAA Legislative Council passed a new rule regarding the transfer of student athletes to different schools. It is the first change of the transfer rule since the 2003-04 school year.

He has served on the CHSAA Hall of Fame selection committee and is a current member of the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame selection committee. Dan is also a contributing editor for Mile High Sports Magazine and also contributes to MaxPreps and other outlets throughout the state.
