The lone goal in the game between No. 1 Boulder and No. 2 Broomfield came off the foot of Ramirez in the first half, assisted by Omar Castruita. Ramirez scored only one goal last season for Boulder.
Fernando Chavez made himself comfortable in the endzone in a 48-0 win over Pinnacle on Saturday. Chavez scored three touchdowns on the ground and returned an interception for a touchdown.
