Bayfield competed in the 2016 state spirit competition with two cheerleaders — the first time in CHSAA state spirit history just two athletes took the mat. This year, Bayfield wants to start fresh in more ways than one.
Cannon Casey is a freelancer for CHSAANow. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado, as well as Fairview High School in Boulder. He was previously a baseball coach.
