Ariana Freeman is from the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, where she attended Paul VI Catholic High School and led her team to four state championships and was named MVP of her conference. During her time there she also began engaging her love for sports broadcasting. She continued her basketball career at Louisville before deciding to be closer to family and pursue broadcasting at the University of Colorado.
