Starks averaged 11.8 points per game last season, including a season-high 23 points against Castle View. A 5-foot-4 point guard, she had 18 games scoring in double figures, and three scoring more than 20.
That followed a sophomore season in which Starks averaged 10.1 points.
Highlands Ranch figures to be one of the favorites in Class 5A next season. The Falcons graduated just one senior from last year’s team.
Starks becomes the 13th known girls basketball player from Colorado to announce her college choice in the Class of 2016. That group includes Starks’ Highlands Ranch teammate, Bri Stiers, who has committed to Missouri-Kansas City.
