Longmont star Justinian Jessup committed to Boise State’s basketball program on Saturday.

Jessup, a senior, announced his decision on Twitter.

Jessup, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard, averaged 17.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.2 steals and 2.5 assists per game last season.

He led Longmont to an unbeaten regular season in 2014-15, as well as an appearance in the Class 4A title game. The Trojans lost to Air Academy in the final.

That followed a great sophomore year in which he averaged 13.6 points.

Jessup also had offers from Colorado, Davidson, Northern Colorado and Weber State according to his Rivals profile.

Jessup becomes the eighth in-state boys basketball player to announce a college choice from the Class of 2016.
