The defending state hockey champion is fighting for position ahead of the playoffs.
Cherry Creek has climbed to No. 6 in the CHSAANow.com hockey poll, up an impressive four spots from a week ago.
Undefeated Monarch keeps its No. 1 ranking and is still very much the team to bet as the state tournament is just on the horizon.
Like the Bruins, Mountain Vista also made a significant jump as they come in at No. 5. The Golden Eagles sat at No. 8 a week ago.
No new teams are added to the rankings this week.
The rankings, voted upon by coaches and select media members, are the official polls of the Association. During the regular season, the poll will release each Monday.
