ARVADA — No. 17-seeded Fossil Ridge and No. 1 Ralston Valley both advanced to the Class 5A state softball tournament by virtue of their performance at regionals on Saturday.
Fossil Ridge won the regional championship with wins over Douglas County and Ralston Valley. RV beat Northglenn in the first round, then Northglenn again to rebound from the loss to Fossil.
