Stormy weather ripped through a large swath of Colorado on Friday, and it caused a number of games to be delayed or postponed.
Among those majorly affected by heavy rain and thunderstorms were football games — starting with the 4 p.m. slate in the south Denver metro area, continuing through the 7 p.m. scheduled start times up north, down south, and even into the mountains.

The game between Vista Ridge and Windsor was actually postponed to Saturday morning, as was Liberty and Sierra.
Many of the 7 p.m. football games didn’t start until 7:30 p.m., and some didn’t start until 8:30 p.m.
