Cheyenne Mountain and Dawson will meet for the Class 4A boys lacrosse championship after each team won in the semifinals on Wednesday.
The two teams met earlier this season in a 10-3 Dawson win on May 1.
The 4A title game is set for 5 p.m. Friday at Mile High Stadium in Denver.

Cheyenne Mountain boys lacrosse is heading a championship game for the first time in program history.
The team went on the road to knock off Aspen on Wednesday.
Cheyenne Mountain didn’t allow a goal until the third quarter — they led 6-0 at halftime, and push that lead to 9-0 in the third.
Aspen (14-3) didn’t go quietly. The Skiers rallied to make it 10-5 in the fourth, but Cheyenne Mountain (14-4) ultimately pulled away.

The top-seeded Mustangs punched a return ticket to the title game in handling Golden.his will be the third-consecutive season Dawson will play for a title. The program has never won a championship.
Wednesday, Dawson built a 6-1 lead at halftime over Golden, according to BoCoPreps.com. The Mustangs never looked back.
Dawson is now 17-1 this season, and has won 10 consecutive games. Golden finishes its year at 14-4.
