Friday’s football game between Poudre and Fossil Ridge, which was suspended in the fourth quarter by lightning, has been made final.

As a result, Poudre has won the game 31-6.

Fossil Ridge athletic director Brandon Carlucci reported to the CHSAA office on Sunday that both schools came to an agreement to finalize the game, which was suspended with seven minutes to play in the fourth quarter.

On Friday night, Poudre jumped out to a 17-0 lead after the first quarter, and was up 24-6 through three quarters.

Poudre is now 4-0 for the first time since 2008. That season, the Impalas actually started 6-0, and reached the state semifinals.

Fossil Ridge falls to 0-3.
