Elizabeth softball took down first-ranked Strasburg 13-12 in extra innings.
Strasburg scored five runs in the seventh inning to send the game to the eighth inning, but Elizabeth came away with the victory.
The Cardinals exploded for eight of their 13 runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Rachel Rucker, Taylor Schleisman and Madi Biller each had two runs batted in.
Biller had three hits, including a homerun and a double to pace the offense, and went all eight innings on the mound.
This was the third extra-inning game Elizabeth has played this year, and the first time they came out on top.
