No. 6 Mountain Vista softball got a key top-10 win on Friday night, beating seventh-ranked Legend.
The Golden Eagles won 8-6, marking their third win in a row, and fifth in the past six games. Mountain Vista is now 10-2 this season.
Mountain Vista faces Douglas County on Monday.
Legend, meanwhile, is now 6-6. It also next plays on Monday, facing rival Chaparral.
Payton Lincavage went 3-for-4 with an RBI for the Titans.
