Photos: Parr helps No. 1 Cherry Creek baseball snap skid with top-10 win

AURORA — No. 1 Cherry Creek baseball snapped a two-game losing streak by shutting out No. 9 Eaglecrest on Thursday.

The Bruins, now 13-5, got a stellar start from Quentin Parr on the mound. He allowed just three hits in six innings, striking out five. Jake Lawrence pitched a perfect seventh inning to preserve the win.

Andrew Chavez and Jimmy Guckenberger each hit home runs for Cherry Creek.
