Cherry Creek girls lacrosse outscored its opponents 44-7 in a 2-0 week as they jumped Columbine into the No. 2 spot.

Arapahoe benefited from a big 3-0 week to come into this week’s rankings at No. 9. The Warriors will face Cherry Creek on Wednesday as they look to continue their rise in the poll.
Regis Jesuit took down Heritage/Littleton and Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, Calif.) last week, and slides into the No. 10 spot.
Columbine and Denver East (No. 3 and No. 4) each received one first-place vote. Denver East’s rise came after the Angels defeated then-No. 4 Kent Denver and then-No. 10 Centaurus.
Kent Denver dropped one spot to No. 5 after going 0-2 last week.
Despite a 10-0 start, Dakota Ridge was jumped by Chaparral. The Eagles come in at No. 7.
Palmer Ridge, who joined the poll last week, held at No. 8.
The rankings, voted upon by coaches and select media members, are the official polls of the Association.
During the regular season, polls are announced each Monday.
