Jack EberhardDENVER — Trey Windham helped 5A football’s No. 7-seeded Cherry Creek pull an upset in the state quarterfinals over No. 2-seeded Mullen with a 34-17 victory Friday night at Brother Bernard Kinneavy de La Salle Stadium.
The Bruins will face defending state champion Valor Christian in the semifinals.
