Boys golf practice officially started on Monday, signaling the start of the 2016-17 season.
The sport is annually the first to practice, and the first to conclude its season. Boys golf’s championships are Sept. 26-27.
Boys golf teams can scrimmage and begin competition on Thursday.
All other sports begin practice next Monday, Aug. 15. For most sports, competition begins on Aug. 25.
