BROOMFIELD — In a tight Tri-Valley League battle, Noah Baum finally gave Holy Family soccer the win over Frederick late in the second overtime.
Abel Huerta gave Frederick the early lead in the 31st minute, but Holy Family’s Scott Avirett knotted the game back up in the 40th minute.
With the win, Holy Family improved to 3-2 (3-0 Tri Valley). Frederick, previously undefeated, dropped to 4-1-1 (3-1).
