GREENWOOD VILLAGE — Top-seeded Cherry Creek got four goals from Michael Morean as the Bruins beat No. 16 Colorado Academy 14-4 in the first round of the Class 5A boys lacrosse tournament.

Maxwell Tennant and Zachary Grado each added three goals for Cherry Creek, while Broderick Vitalie had seven ground balls. Benton Adams made five saves.
