AURORA — The district baseball fields in Class 3A, 4A and 5A were unveiled on Wednesday, with Cherry Creek (5A), Pueblo West (4A) and Eaton (3A) receiving top overall seeds.
The tournaments are all set to play on May 9, though weather could be a factor. As such, some may play games on Monday or Tuesday next week. Here is a complete plan for weather contingencies.
Each of these district tournaments will qualify eight teams to their respective state tournaments. The Final 8 for each class is scheduled for May 15-16, with 3A in Greeley, 4A in Lakewood and 5A in Denver.
Aside from Cherry Creek, Rock Canyon, Denver East, Monarch, Fruita Monument, Pine Creek, Mountain Vista and Legend are also hosting district sites.

In 3A, outside of top seed Eaton, those hosting districts include Lamar, Bayfield, Brush, Manitou Springs, Kent Denver, Olathe and Gunnison.
