He averaged 8.1 points and 4.3 rebounds last season in helping Overland reach the Class 5A Final 4 last season.
Swan is the 11th known boys basketball recruit to announce his college plans from Colorado’s Class of 2015. Among that group is five other Division I commits, including teammate Austin Conway, who is headed to Wyoming.
With Swan, Conway and junior De’Ron Davis, a top national recruit, Overland is expected to challenge for the 5A title again this season. CHSAANow.com’s preseason poll will be out later this month.
ESPN.com lists Swan as a three-star recruit and as the No. 2 recruit in Colorado during this cycle.
Basketball recruits can sign a binding national letter of intent on Wednesday with the start of the early signing period.
