LITTLETON — No. 5 Cherry Creek and No. 7 Dakota Ridge skated to a 2-2 tie in a top-10 hockey showdown on Wednesday.

Rick Torres and Ryan Worley scored for Cherry Creek, while Zach Czarnecki and Joey Dolce scored for Dakota Ridge. Czarnecki also had an assist, and Jake Ross had two assists for Dakota Ridge.

Quinton Reynolds made 33 saves for Cherry Creek. Dakota Ridge’s Joey Owston had 25.
